The 11th Asian Crop Science Association Conference (ACSAC11) was successfully held over three days from May 19 to 21, 2025, in Taipei, Taiwan. The conference brought together 334 crop science researchers from 21 countries, including many from across Asia, fostering active discussions and international exchange.
A total of 75 participants from Japan attended the conference, making it a valuable opportunity to strengthen academic collaboration with researchers from other countries. From the Crop Science Society of Japan, Dr. Yoichiro Kato (Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo) and Dr. Yasuhiro Tsujimoto (Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences) delivered keynote speeches. They addressed the current status and future perspectives of crop science research for food security and sustainable crop production in Asia and Africa.
